this makes me so happy, the dessert you are eating at the end is flan but the japanese version of it that i grew up on which is much more silkier than the mexican/other ethnic versions that i’ve had. it’s so good💓

Aaron, there's a little, pointy tab on the bottom of the custard cup. You flip the cup over onto a plate and break that little, protruding tab to release the custard onto the plate. That brown layer on the bottom should be presented at the top to you. Going to Japan is on my bucket list. So envy you two!

Hi guys. The dessert Aaron was eating outside the shop is looks like what we in the U.K. call Crème Caramel. It’s like a set custard with a burnt caramel liquid. If you were at home, you’re meant to tip it upside down on to a dish so the caramel pours over the dessert. I love it. It’s one of my favourite. You can buy a pack of four in our supermarkets for around a £1 which is $1.63 CD

I was just in Japan about a week ago and that strawberry mochi dessert is my favorite thing I tried there! I don't even use a spoon. I just eat it there as it sits on the container. The mochi is so soft and delicate! It just melts in your mouth. There's almost no chewing required! And the cream and the strawberry inside taste amazing as well. I'd so come back to Japan just for this dessert! It is $2-3 USD too which is not bad at all. Ahh, I miss Japan already!
