(Sat 17/6/23 at Llanbadarn X) 97303+37405 6Z55 0330 Aberystwyth Krono Colas to Chirk Kronospan Colas

Here we have 97303+37405 on the Cambrian logs going over Llanbadarn crossing on the Aberystwyth-Chirk but, unusually for in this direction, at more 4am than 4pm.
This is because the train was meant to run as 6Z55 1549 Aberystwyth Krono Colas to Chirk Kronospan Colas on Friday the 16/6/23, but they missed the last daytime path and couldn't get permission to use an evening TfW path.

Thank you! It's a 97 and a 37 but a 97 is just a 37 with equipment for the ERTMS/ETCS signalling on this line, so the 37 has to be on the back. Lol yes the thrash just after the locos went out of shot lol 😄 Those broken crossing warning sounds 😝 This is my first video that isn't a phone video or a handheld video. @RWL2012 ah them alarms don't work properly then because this has had new alarms and they are not ment to beep

@@JPLCUK yeah I think the sounders have been replaced with new YA30 ones, but something is going very wrong, at least in night mode. My theory is the method of night mode hasn't changed from the old sounders, like it seems to be a reduction in voltage or something but that just causes these new ones to keep cutting out and resetting, hence the "beeping". @OWRailUK has a video of them working fine in day mode.

Great video mate 👍 How often are these running now? Having been away from Aber for some time, it hasn't really been on my radar as much as usual! I'm pretty sure they're in the timetable to run every week (?), just maybe not always activated and ran.
