Hi, thanks for making this video. Im a sophomore and the highest score i've gotten was on the PSAT was a 1100. I want to get a competitive score, should i start studying now? I don't relaly know how to study, should I just be taking practice exams? Thx for y our help i appreciate you making these videos, any advice would help me.

You should start studying as early as you can. Also khan academy is a the best place to study for the sat because they have a partnership with college board. Good luck☺️

I know you commented a year ago but still, You should start preparing at least 3 months prior the exam. You should do at least 15 full tests. Math is usually easier so you should pay closer attention to reading. You should work with time, at least starting with a stopwatch to see how much improvement you need. Try different tactics, such as: fully reading then doing the tests; skipping the text, looking at the questions then finding the answer from the text; skimmimg over the passage then doing the test and etc. Each of these tactics could be broken down into certain question types and ultimate solutions. You should do many practice tests to determine which strategy is most suitable for you. First you might hate the sat tests, but after a few practice tests you're going to get used and create a momentum where you voluntarily want to do practice tests. If possible, find tutors too. :)
