this style has nothing to do with Heavy Metal..... it's too fast for Heavy Metal and also too intricate and technical for Speed Metal...... you got confused by the soft production, but that has nothing to do with what sub-genre it is...... they played this same style on their "Suspended Sentence" album and noone has problem with that album being Thrash...... if it was about heaviness, then albums like "Rust in Peace" wouldn't even be considered Thrash compared to albums like "Master of Puppets" which are 5 times heavier....... SataN are like Iron Maiden of Thrash, they might not be the heaviest, but instrumentally, they are better than any famous Thrash band.......
