Rochester Cathedral is one of the oldest churches in England. Founded not long after Canterbury and by St Augustine, it was rebuilt by the Normans. While the building itself is interesting and features some beautiful sculptures, it seems, to me at least, to have lost its way. For while there is no Rood cross any more and indeed few Christian symbols, it has now embraced dragon symbolism.
In this video, we examine the church, exploring the meaning of the architecture before confronting the clear meaning of modern imagery, which says this is no longer a Christian building but part play-ground and part canvas for the new religion of environmentalism.
Watch this video to the end. You will be very surprised where it leads.
