Excelent band . I was lucky to found them in casette during the comunism regime in Romania when IT was hard to find rock metal from west.Satan are one of the Best band !

Whoa, pump the brakes a bit - killer LP for sure & would agree it's among the best of the NWOBHM genre for that particular year, but best album of all time? Highest possible praise - but, hey if you believe it to be so then power to you! 🤘

My friend Keith Menser of Mystic Force , played KIT in 2012. We started the band in 1983 in Baltimore . We would sit in his room and listen to new music for ideas . He snuck one under the radar on me . Smiled and said just listen . After a few bong hits . Said it was Satan .. " on Hell No . " I couldn't deny it rocked but was upset . You tricked me !! . A little while later I snuck an album in on him " Check this out !! " . It was Stryper . He loved It up until the point the singing kicked in . Gotcha !! . .I left the band in 84 because I sucked guitar . He kept going and did well .. Sadly . My buddy passed away last month

"Court in the Act" is such a great album! Remember when buying it without knowing anything about it back in -83. Was heavily into the harder spectrum of metal, and was allured by the name SATAN to believe this was gonna be something really fast and hard like Kill em All or Show No Mercy, which was the hardest/fastest of the time. But I was wrong, instead I got a NWOBHM masterpiece, and was not disappointed at all, in fact I was blown away in a very positive way, and I still am! Great performance in spite of the 39 years that have passed since then!

I only got to know them in 13 when they came back. Still cannot believe how everything that they do is on SO HIGH level. Amazing band.
