I never said that it depends on ourselves. It is a gift from Jesus but as we have free will we can reject that gift at any time. He does not force anything on us.

@@SSNBN777 I’m held in the father’s hand, no man can remove me from his hand including myself. Once I became born again as a child of God there’s nothing I can do to stop being a child of god the same way there’s nothing I can do to stop being my mom and dads son. My obedience to my parents doesn’t decide if I’m their child or not but it does decide how are relationship is. This guy is confusing what it takes to be saved with what it takes to be sanctified and a disciple of Christ making him a damnable heretic. He doesn’t believe the record that god gave of his son and making god a liar because he doesn’t believe that god gives us eternal life through his son. If you receive something that he s eternal that means it never ends, if at any point it ceases to end then it wasn’t eternal.

@@beenballinsince9488 Yes no one is justified by the law because we have all broken it and are worthy of death so only by Christ's mercy and sacrifice can we be forgiven. Yet under the new covenant, the law is written in our hearts. Jesus said we would keep his commandments if we love him and he told us to repent and sin no more. Sin is transgression of the law and the fruit of salvation is obedience. Faith without works is dead. We must live by all scripture and not just cherry pick what we like.

@@beenballinsince9488 First of all Law is a wrong translation for Torah. Torah means Instructions, Teachings but it has laws in it big difference. Second of all We dont keep/guard the commands of Torah to be saved we keep/guard them because we are saved & that is how we express our love towards our Heavenly Father ❤ John 15:10
