Ukraine was very fortunate that Zelenskyy was in office when the invasion began. He’s given so much of himself, his time and effort for his people. I wouldn’t be much of a diplomat. If I led my country, one visit from him would see me dedicating everything Ukraine needs so long as it didn’t make my own country vulnerable. Imagine where we would be if our leaders had just given Ukraine what it needed without restriction from the beginning of the war-provided Ukraine followed the rules of war of course. Though I do wish that western leaders would understand that they simply cannot be friends or allies of countries like Russia and China. It would never be reciprocated. They don’t want to be friends with the West because they see us as enemies. If they get their way, they would wipe us out without hesitation or mercy..

It is not like a video game. They would need very advanced machinery and highly educated and trained personnel to make ballistic missiles. You can't just send blueprints and mannuals and think thats enough. Not to mention how ressource intensive this. You need hundreds of differents parts that go into one missile and they all need to be made somewhere plus all thise facilities are easily targeted. Jet drones are a lot easier to make in secret locations so that is fine to target super soft targets that go boom with small payloads like huge ammo dumps but we need more and better stuff. No we have to send the missiles that we already got and open russian targets up.

At first, I thought he was a joke. He was a TV star who played the Ukrainian president in a TV show. The Trump call was a complete fiasco, and he covered for Trump. When I heard the news that Russia invaded Ukraine, I expected him to run, but he stayed, and he led his people to victory. Ukraine already won this war, even if they lost territory. The Russian goal was to destroy the country and the nation and now this is beyond their reach.

@GCarty80
@GCarty80 4 сағат бұрын
Did Chamberlain actually make the wrong call in 1938 though? I can think of at least 3 ways deciding to fight in 1938 could have backfired: 1) If Hitler managed to conquer France even _without_ the help of the captured Czech tanks (after all, no-one expected him to do that easily even _with_ them) then British morale would have been a lot shakier given that the UK would have gone to war on mere suspicion. 2) The Soviets could have just grabbed the Baltics and western Belarus and Ukraine (just as they did historically) while leaving Britain and France to twist in the wind against the Germans, or 3) The Soviets could have attacked Germany from the east leading to Germany's fall, but then carried on heading west and invaded France themselves (with the US still isolationist and the Soviets far stronger not having suffered a devastating German invasion themselves).

That news and the photos of Zelenskyy's visit to the munitions plant in Scranton, PA to say hello and thanks is just awesome. The woman on the left in the blue over yellow shirt - nice one! They all looked pretty honored to have the president there. I hope this story is pushed nationally.

After watching Trump, I said to myself how can anyone support this guy, but I have to say I once supported him to, being ignorant to foreign policy, and world politics, but have since educated myself a little better and I would just say, think about the future of your children's children 🌻🕶️

TBF, he wasn't that bad on foreign policy during his 2016 campaign, but he just continued to slide downwards in terms of domestic and foreign policy quality. I still can't believe some people will vote for him in 2024 😞
