Fun facts about this Episode. 🔥🔥🔥 Chapters Adapted: Railgun Ch. 8, 9, 10 and 11 Doctors were present in the manga, and they were curious about Kuroko and Mikoto's relationship after seeing them showing an almost display of affectionate with Kuroko had no shame in showing them in public. Kiyama Harumi is not a doctor as she stated in the manga. She studies AIM diffusion fields and how they affect the brain. She wasn't brought in to help these patients come out of their coma, but rather she was sent in to investigate the reason for their situation because all of them showed talents that were above what their Levels should permit. She also asked some of the doctors to take the gathered data to her office because she is unable to use it here or draw conclusions based just on patient visits. Her primary goal was to visit the patients in person so she could understand what she was dealing with. This scene is meant to take place on July 20th, which is the day that Index fell over Touma's balcony. This was referenced in the manga when Stiyl passed by to where Uiharu was waiting on the street. Stiyl is most likely looking for Index and will confront her later today along with Kanzaki. Why The School Uniform in this summer vacation? This similar question is put to Uiharu by Saten, and it's mostly because they still have Judgment business, which requires them to wear their uniform, hence why Saten is not in uniform, although Uiharu is for this reason. The manga also explains the reasons behind Judgment's silence toward the Level Upper. They didn't want to talk about it because they don't know if it exists or even if it's connected to the case. If they do, they might encourage more people to look for it, and telling them that people have gone into a coma could cause unnecessary anxiety if it turns out that it has nothing to do with the case. Therefore, the judgment will not reveal it until the connection has been established. In a sarcastic manner, Saten participates in the manga by asserting that women shouldn't display their underwear in public. Here is another Index reference that has been overlooked. Initially, Mikoto did not flee to pursue Saten, instead she spotted Touma in a stalker-like manner and proceeded to pursue him, as that seems to be her default behavior these days. Next comes the scene from Index, after dropping Index to his apartment on the way to school, then while returning to his home Touma meets Mikoto on the way. She answers his request for directions to an English church, becomes enraged when she thought she was getting fooled, sends a security robot and everyone's telephones into overdrive due to her electromagnetic waves, and both run away because of the emergency robots, before she could have asked him for a proper serious challenge. Then we get to see her thought process, as she first feels a little scared of his abilities of cancelling out her electromagnetism before bracing herself to ask for a real combat and then chickening out at the last minute by requesting information on the magician he mentioned. She remains depressed and self-disappointed after Touma left her behind. Saten simply returned home, since Mikoto never pursued her, so the scene where they converse beneath the bridge never happened. Her flashback, however, is canon but it takes place in a later chapter of the manga. Ironically, according to Index's Idol Theory that she demonstrated on John's Pen Mode, if her charm is sufficiently similar to a genuine charm, it would actually offer a little amount of protection. The manga took a slightly different approach. Kuroko is fed up with this Level Upper, and knowing the identities of the delinquents from the previous episode, she decides to pay them a visit. After that, she politely and calmly urged them to volunteer to assist with the inquiry. Mikoto is not the only one who may sometimes break the rules! After that, she obtained the website address from the delinquents, instructed Uiharu to download the Level Upper, and requested that Judgment suspend access to the webpage. In the manga, Kuroko already possesses the Level Upper. Therefore, there was no justification for visiting the Exchange Location. The next day, however, Uiharu saw that practical trading of gadgets with the Level Upper had surged as a result of the website being shut down. Additionally, the prices soared. Kuroko chooses to go interrupt these exchanges in order to stop other individuals from utilizing them and going into a coma, and he lets Uiharu handle the paperwork pertaining to the Level Upper. Saten is using her smartphone as a music player in this scene, thus it appears to be a coincidence that the battery went down just as she noticed the crime. In the manga, however, she possessed a separate music player (similar to an iPod classic) and a standard flipphone. When she goes to call Anti-Skill, she discovers that she had failed to charge it for several days, which she deeply regretted at the time. In the manga it was shown that Kuroko broke the guy's nose after she hit him with that suitcase Trick Art also cut part of her twintail that it was so detailed compared in the anime. The manga also showed the impossible trajectory of the leg hitting Kuroko in a better way Kuroko thought she was clever when she went to a room next to the stairs to hear him go down. Unfortunately, he knows the building intimately and predicted her method. He hit her full-fisted in the face instead of kneeing her in the stomach, which made the manga slightly more brutal. The anime missed this, but the manga got a hint at his ability before it was revealed, because the reflection in this mirror did not line up. In the manga, Kuroko looks more rough, especially her face. Trick Art was able to determine what she was preparing. Unfortunately, by the time he arrived, Kuroko had already carried out her plan, compared here that he looks clueless on what's she doing until the end. At the end of this episode, Saten and her friends descend on the same set of stairs that Touma runs down in episode 1 of Index as he flees from the delinquents he enraged after attempting to defend them from Mikoto.
