NCC was my choice during my college life. From 1971 to 1974 I took part in some camps as a cadet of 14 Bengal NCC battalion.Those were general three camps for one week each for traing like parade, rifle shooting and written exam. One army attachment camp at 16Rajput Regiment for three weeks at Binnaguri . I passed "B" certificate. I think NCC helps to be disciplined and social man also.

All Schools and Colleges NCC should be made must to all eligible students. Good Discipline, strictness and Good Habits can be easily inculcated among the student community who are the future generation. State and Central Governments should include this in the Education Stream. Sathaye College activities and training excellent.

I JOINED ACC the fore runner of NCC in 1958.59 And co tinued in NCC senior division Army wing.Totally attended over 9 camps. Leadership..Advanced etc as that was the time Pak issue came up.DID C CERTIFICATE.Selected for REPUBLIC DAY PARADE AND CAMP BUT THAT YEAR THE CAMP AND PARADE WAS CANCELLED. I DID NOT JOIN ARMY AS I WAS UNDERAGED. BUT even at 76 when I go for morning walk my steps are of a person 8n the force.I learned discipline and to give respect to seniority and how to handle LMG( LIGHT MACINE GUN)
