"A Blessing That Made Sense 13 Years Later"
I was clear that I wanted to stay forever with Sri Sathya Sai Baba and serve Him all my life. That is why I sought a 'job' from Him on completion of my MBA degree. Swami blessed me with a job at Radiosai Global Harmony by saying,
"If you want to make Swami happy, make Venkataraman happy."
I thought I understood what He meant. But it was 13 years later, when I was between the horns of a dilemma about resigning from the Central Trust, that Swami's words made special sense to me. And yet again, I found my eyes welling up with tears and heart filling up with gratitude at Swami's love and compassion.
His words always have multiple layers of meanings that reveal themselves to us when we need them the most.

Arvind's work in radio sai is connecting Swamy's devotees and filling them with Swamy's love and devotion Even Yesterday I mentioned something about Swamy to my wife which was general and she got so upset and said dont talk to me about baba I dont like. Then I told her you have kept a statue of Shirdi Sai which is the earlier avathar of Sathya sai then she started grumbling saying you are starting a fight and quarrel. I just stopped talking.

There is a small invisible screen between us and our Swami which sometimes covers our eyes . Once removed we are directly in front of our beloved Swami. Doing Seva dal service at Brindavan during the early 1970s I used to see Swami materialising Vibhoothi or sometimes a ring which swamy gave to some devotee. I always was longing for a ring from Swami. I also had doubts why swami is not giving me a ring. Some weeks later we had a Seva dal day in which swamy addressed all of us Bangalore seva dal Volunteers. There swamy said " SOME PEOPLE ARE ANXIOUS TO GET VIBHOOTHI OR A RING CREATED BY ME" WHY ARE YOU PEOPLE LONGING FOR A PERISHABLE THING LIKE VIBHOOTHI OR A RING WHEN i WANT TO GIVE YOU GOLD". What Swamy was saying was when I want to give my whole self itself to you as your Beloved Lord why do you aspire for perishable small things. We were blessed to get Swami's speech many times, Sometimes biscuits, ice creams, many times Mangoes during mango season. Many times we got Sweets, Vibhoothi packets etc., but all the time lots of love from Swami.

@@saistudent right now am in israel for studies, i meet many devotees of which somethem who never visited India but had deep connection with Sathya sai baba, during some conversation we are talking dreams after a elderly devotee shared about her dreams, I opened YT pointing YOUR vedio about dream in radiosai channel...She told me that She had already seen it, She mentioned you narrative is very dramatic and catchy. Your vedios were shared in whatsapp group in this zone...I just witness How blessed you are to touch many people who connect to swamy.

Sathya Sai's Words have multiple layers of meanings. Of course. During the 70s when Swami was in Brindavan one Sunday devotees had assembled one morning for His darshan. Few devotees were discussing sadly about an article published in the Blitz news paper by R.K.Karanjia showing Our Swami in bad light. As they were discussing suddenly the inner gate opened and swami came for darshan. After moving among the devotees he came to this small group. Swami said NEWS PAPER. The group was shocked . Swamy was referring to their discussion a few minutes ago about Blitz news paper article. Swamy then encouraged them by saying TODAYS NEWS PAPER TOMORROWS WASTE PAPER, LOOK INTO THE TASTE PAPER OF YOUR LIFE. SWAMI IS THERE WITH YOU. Such wrong news are passing faces.

@@saistudent You are right. Karanjia wrote about Swamy. But do you know what happened before that my dear Brother. Some body informed Karanjia that Swami is coming to Delhi one evening. Karanjia thought he should not miss this opportunity to go to the airport and have a close darshan of Swamy. As anybody would think there will not be many devotees at the airport. Karanjia was waiting since evening. The arrival of Swamy's plane got postponed a few times and when Swamy's plane finally touched down at the Delhi airport it was past midnight . Nearly 2.00 at midnight. And do you know the number of people waiting to have a glimpse of Swamy ? It was nearly two to two and half lakhs people. It was then that Karanjia understood Swamy . When Swamy came out of the aircraft Karanjia was standing at a short distance. Swamy just smiled at karanjia and moved on. Similar smile at Bangalore on return . Later Karanaji started coming to Brindavan and recording divine incidents and started publishing it in the same Blitz Newspapers. SAI RAM
