Satin black over matte any day. Over the years I have had cars wrapped in both and the matte ends up looking bad over time while the satin keeps its look.

I have had the same. Not just with matte black but with green as well, within a year it begins to fade and then a brownish color after multiple years! I try to talk my customers away from matte

I never sand vehicles unless it’s really Bad and I’ll let the customer know when they drop off. I do full inspection before they leave.

Thanks for another video Samson! Quick question; When you get material like that portion on the door with the hole in it, can you get credited from the manufacturer for defective materials, or do you just end up writing that off? Look forward to more content!

This is why I ordered full rolls in case something like this happens. The manufacture will replace it but never had to go through them since my dealer is always kind enough to replace it for me. But on such a small piece, I don’t even think twice about it. If it’s half a roll then of course. But I’ve had the manufactures send me out free rolls for the inconvenience. I don’t like to complain much. I understand at the end of the day mistakes happen.

Avery is a lot easier to install but depends on the vehicle I’m wrapping. If I’m wrapping over fiber glass, 3m forsure because it’s more tacky but other than that I like Avery.
