You're simply the best, and should be the standard for KZbin jazz guitar instructors. Here's where I believe you excel: 1. You preview the song/lesson 2. You preview each section 3. You get right to it 4. No extraneous banter ( although you'd be pleasant enough to listen to 😊) 5. You have a grrrreat demeanor. 6. You pick and arrange jazz standards knowing your audience is probably not advanced, but amateur, recreational guitar enthusiasts. Thanks for all the continuing lessons; no, really, many thanks.

I am very grateful for what you offer; a chance for me to enjoy acquiring the ability/skills to play music, (which I would not otherwise find easily), that has withstood the test of time. I will feel free to make suggestions (but never be critical) when I feel it may be helpful to both you and your viewers. Have the best day yet!

Greeetings from Waxahachie Texas. I just wanted to say that I find your lessons the best I have had. Here is what I think is great 1.you go slowly and review exactly where you are on the fretboard. 2. You go one section at a time 3. You are encouraging My only issue is how you define easy. Worth the time and practice but not easy.

@GuitarversumSandraSherman4 жыл бұрын
You will get there if you practice the changes from one chord or measure to the next. Try to analyse where each finger goes to. Speed comes with the brain knowing what to do and sending this informativ to your fingers.

Hello Sandra !! I have a question, why do you do a two five one with (A flat m9 , and D flat 7.) for go to Cmaj7 ?? It sounds very good but I don't know very well the theory of that movement.😓
@sheldofficial7444 жыл бұрын
It’s not really a two five one. The Abm9 is the 5 chord of Db7, and Db7 is the tritone substitution of G7, aka the 5 chord of C.

Like sh!eld official said, it's a tritone substitute. It substitutes for the Dm7 G7 (II V). If you replace their roots a tritone (6 semitones) apart, you get Abm7 and Db7. This is trick is done to get a smoother bass line. (Db leads better to C.)
