The Tarantula is literally made out of paper mache. It just comes apart at the seems. Also, I wish the map was a bit more flat to allow easier landings. (I have a tendency to pancake/belly flop) The Tarantula should be a bit more robust.

When the tarantula is shot at from below or behind its actually quite robust, it is based on luck though.
