I remember in the early 1970's (?) epoxy flooring being a thing. People would customise with glitter or sprinkles to do whatever design they wanted. I never understood why it suddenly disappeared but I'm guessing it must have been rather hard and could not compete with the comfort of cushioned sheet vinyl, gaining popularity at the time.

Probably been said, but did I see a skateboard made from the resin? Place LED strips inside the resin that light up those different layers of beautiful paint from the smooth edge inward and have the battery sealed inside, but maybe an inductive charger to eliminate the need for external cables or jacks, but also even more vibrant! lol Throw in some Bluetooth and some small screen in the deck pointed upwards to provide you current speed or phone notification lmao or how to perform the trick while you're at the park with friends? hmmm Headlights, taillights, and laser light show projected out the sides for good measure or maybe create a driving line projected on the road in front of you that can also show the turning radius ahead as you lean left or right like real time Gran Turismo style but works off simple sensors built in

While the first layer needs to be flat it does not need to be completely dry before pouring the next layer in fact if it is at the thick gel stage it will look better
