Satisfying Foam Wash - Jeep Trackhawk Exterior Auto Detailing

Like foam washes? Me too! In todays video we give this brand new Jeep Trackhawk a foam wash. This vehicle only has 22KM on the odometer and will be receiving a new car ceramic coating package. However in this video we just document the initial wash process, which included a deep wheel cleaning using a dedicated iron remover, followed by a wheel/tire cleaner diluted in the IK Foam 1.5. After the wheels were free of debris the vehicle gets foamed down to make the hand washing process much safer and easier. We end the video after drying the paint. This was followed by Iron removal on the paint and a light clay bar before entering a couple stages of polishing. These steps are not shown as I wanted to spotlight the foam aspect of the wash! For all the "It was already clean" comments: 1. Even though a car appears clean on the surface, there are contamination embedded in it. Notice the iron remover's reaction? Yeah those wheels are filthy. 2. To some people (especially detailers), what may look like a clean car might not be up to acceptable standards for that person. My car will always looks clean to other people but believe me, it gets dirty to my eyes. I bet my neighbors think I'm nuts for washing a "clean" car. 3. Basic wash of a "clean" car is not much easier than washing a dirty one. The steps are the same, the time it takes are about the same, the products used are the same and the level of care and effort you put in it must be the same.

He replied to spmeone elses comment and he said it was on a trailer straight from the dealership. I detail cars at a dealership and we get in cars that look clean right off of the trailer from the factory but really there can be a lot of surface dust that you really cant see in pictures/videos

Thanks for your comment man! I probably should have explained that the vehicle was in for a new vehicle protection package. After this wash it got paint corrected and ceramic coated inside and out. I just wanted to document the first wash. Had people very upset haha

My cars could be slightly dusty and I'd still wash them. Most cars look clean on camera anyway. Also agree, what's "clean" to most is not really clean, your car gets dirty the moment you drive it. 🙂

It might have been clean in the sense that there was no dirt on the vehicle but that iron remover still went purple which means there were contaminants everywhere. This prep wash was very necessary.

It is more of an explanatory video about how to take care of our car, because the car presented in the video is very clean and cared for, at least when you gave water you can see that the car was waxed! Note, the glove with which you wash the car after each washing portion must be rinsed in a bucket with clean water and then in the foam and wipe bucket, with the towel not wiped when it is folded, it is better with it undone! Hi, I think you are wrong when you rinse the car with only water before the foaming. The foaming should be the fist step to start to remove the dirt. The foam encapsulate and lubricate the present dirt and this prevent posible scratches when it is removed after with the water from the pressure washer. Your first rinse without foam moves the particulates without any lubricity so the possibility of scratch is higher.
