The i7-3770 CPU, LGA1155 motherboard, DDR3 RAM, and Nvidia GTX 1650 4GB graphics card are all pretty cheap but deliver graphics well above an XBox One or PS4. I've built three rigs of my own and one of them has those specs, accept with 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 RAM and two 1TB SSDs: one with Win 10, one with Linux Mint.

So I got a question I got the same motherboard and I got a i7-2600 and a gigabyte rx 580 8gb and there is no display once connected to it but on the internal graphics it displays and also it does not pop up in the device manager. The Gpu is getting power and the fans are spinning

That's my chip. Still going strong with windows "7," lol!! No need to upgrade to 10 or 11, yet. Got the Asus P8Z77-V, Crucial Memory, Intel and Samsung 250g SSD's, NH-D14, Fractal case, cooler master gold PS, no graphic card. However, will probably get a graphic card for MSFS 2020. Didn't need a card for MSFS X. That 3770 kicks some ass. No, no overclocking. Wouldn't have a clue of how to do it anyway. I did build the system, though. Worked from the get. Only problem was a bad memory card which crucial replaced for free.

That's not how thermal paste is applied. You don't spread it all over the CPU. The CPU is square-shaped and the back of the fan is round. Also, if you're not going to talk, it would help if you don't fly through the steps. Gosh.

Pretty much the base of my own low-cost project. For the price of the GTX 1650, I would recommend purchasing a used GTX 1070 or 1080 which both will outperform the 1650 in 1080p at any time. And maybe another CPU cooler, the Foxconn boxed one is gonna wreck your nerves - there are things like the Arctic Freezer 7x available for around 20 bucks, instantly decreasing core temperatures by 10 to 15 degrees Celsius, decent noise reduction included. That mainboard is a pretty good choice, though...great bang for buck, offering easy BIOS updates and convenient OC options while being reliabe to the moon and back.

@@huaitenz The 3770k is pretty much the top CPU for socket 1155 mainboards...there are some Xeon's that are also worth a look, but in the end, it doesn't really matter. Overclocking is very simple, due to the great BIOS Gigabyte delivers. 4,4 GHz stable at well below 85° (load temp, idle in the high 40s to low 50s) is no problem, even with an affordable cooling option. Graphics is hard to tell...I haven't tried newer cards, as I have a Gainward Phoenix 1080 GLH which is still doing a very decent job. The PCIe slot is 3.0x16. A 1080ti would be a great choice, in my opinion. You can even run newer cards like a 2070ti or even a 30-something without a problem, but on CPU-intense games (like almost every Open World) you'll end up bottlenecking your system with that old i7 and the DDR3 RAM. I would truly recommend a 1080 or 1080ti, if we're talking about 1080p gaming. You're not gonna get the reward for your extra invest out of a system that old from putting a more recent graphics card of the same level in there. I mean, in case of a 1080ti, we're still talking about 200+ bucks, here. What are you willing to spend on a system that is 12 years old? Today's i3s are much faster than that. If you spend some extra bucks on 2x8 GB of Dual-channel gaming RAM (1600MHz, CL9) and a fast SSD, you will have pretty much maxed out this machine.

It is a good build if you find a cheap workstation like HP 8300 and put a RX 550 low profile. I had one and played FIFA 23, God of War, Gears of War, Forza Horizon 4 (videos in my chanel). The problem I see is if you have to buy the parts separetely, as this i7 3770 costs the same as a Ryzen 2600
