Satisfying height marker restoration

Hi folks,
in this awesome tool restoration video you will see a very used height marker that I got from my boss Sascha - thank you! We are doing things like rust removing, painting and some other satisfying work steps. It was important to restore very carefully becauseit is a precision tool. Tat means that I dont used alot of machine force for cleaning and polishing.

Turn column around 180 degrees in base. Lower pointer to base and then zero the scale. It will be a calibrated height measuring tool then. Nice job.

I have a little confusion,why didn't you used a filler/putty to level the Dents in some parts. But Very nice work

It would be great if you hide the dents by using a metal filler and primer coat .. But you did a great job .

You can scratch metal at a very exactly point

It's used to set markt at precise geight. so you can put a mark on several part alsways at the same point, or doint a line on a bigger pat, which will always have the same height.
