Where is part 2? There was SO MUCH MORE TO DO. I have yet to see a video here on KZbin that actually shows a face completely cleared of clogged pores. Or even one side of completely cleared. A before and after and the sebum that came out of one side. If it’s a long video, I’m sure people would watch to see the ending result. Skipping around and not clearing really any part of the face is like half done job.

Yep, every pore packed to capacity! The contents have become petrified. I think a steam bath would have helped to open the pores as well as soften the spots. At this rate, every pore would need to be sliced and diced. An inevitable blood bath. Edit. I am assuming that no steam facial took place beforehand, I really don't know. Others have remarked that steaming of the face is done beforehand which I find hard to believe. We watch these clips, some for nearly 30 minutes, during which time, the same cotton swab is used throughout, the glove is never changed, and more importantly, the face is not washed to reduce the build up of sebum and constant slipping. So am I right to assume no steam is used before commencement of the extractions?

I mean, I guess you'll believe what you want to believe but I do know that Hien herself has said that the skin IS washed with something to make the extractions easier and steamed beforehand and it's washed with something different afterwards to soothe the skin and help inflammation. She stated this and answered a few of the most common questions she receives in the comments in the description of one of her videos and in the comments of another. If I have time in a little while, I'll try and find them for you so you can read it yourself and judge it how you will. Some of their practices are a bit different than what we're used to seeing through our western point of view but that doesn't necessarily mean they're no good.
