I tried to dissemblable my lipstick tubes to remake new ones and I just can't do it. I don't know what they use here to take the lipstick tube apart. If someone knows please let me know

Why do you let the lipstick sink in the middle when it's been poured? Wouldn't that make it hollow and result in less product?

This kind of shrinkage is normal for something that is based on wax and fat. If you pour a candle, that wax will sink in a bit in the middle while cool down and if you don't like it, you can refill this sink with product. But since the sink on the lower end of the lipstick disappeares in the tube, it isn't visible for the customer. BTW the visible lipstick makes only 75-80%, the rest is hidden in the tube.

Try to dive into decorative cosmetics. Prestige brands are usually a rip off for consumers because the majority of the price is because of marketing, advertising, design and fancy packaging. The actual product is quite cheap in comparison. But the costumer doesn't buy the product because it's better than a similar one that costs 5 dollars from a drugstore, but because it's a luxury item. If a lipstick is hard or soft depends on the formulation (what wax is used, wax/oil ratio, finish) and of course.. temperature and storage. If you carelessly forget your lipstick in your purse when it's hot, it gets soft and will mush or break easily. It will literally melt like ice in the sunshine.
