I am totally against foundation being put in a compact with a sponge that absorbs it all! Like the Dior foundation compact at the beginning of this video! To me thats just unsanitary! Using foundation from a bottle with a disposable sponge or sponge you can clean is way better for the skin! When you put liquid foundation in a compact and the foamy sponge absorbs it all it makes the sponge almost impossible to clean because it has absorbed all the foundation and youll have to keep adding liquid foundation to it. Thats just my thoughts.

For sanitary reasons I agree. And the sponges absorb a lot. I can use this compact for 14 or 15 uses before I have to flip my cushion. And another 5 days before I feel to refill the foundation. But you can use a clean spongeor brush for every application.
