I really enjoy your videos! They are especially helpful to someone like me who has never done hair before. I have a mixed daughter who is 2. I'm trying to learn new styles for her hair. I can only do regular plats. I can't do the plats or twists to the scalp and I want to learn so bad! If anyone has any suggestions on what kind of hair products I could use it would sure be helpful. Her hair does better with gels I think but the only gel i currently have is Miss Jessie's Jelly soft curls. But I think this gel is really meant for when she wears her hair down. I need something to help braids and twists stay tight and together. So maybe a good gel that has a firmer hold? Her hair is soft and comes unbraided and untwisted easily. I don't really have the money to waste trying out a bunch of different gels. So if anyone knows of a firmer hold gel (or any other type of good product) that doesn't overly dry out hair please let me know 🙃 I would greatly appreciate it.
