I think "zit" is just a word for pimple/blemish in general. Whitehead is a type of pimple. Basically the one that haven't had the colour change when it's subjected to oxygen. I hope that makes some sense! I'm only an expert at getting pimples!☺️

Hidradenitis Suppurativa, most if not all of the skin problems we see are caused by this Immune Disorder. No amount of cleaning of the skin will cure it. Treatment is the draining and removal, antibiotics and steriods. The earlier treatment starts the better the results. Many treatments are needed and so we see different stages.

For someone with such painful areas, I would think a dental injection of Novocaine would numb some or all of facial areas that need to be treated. I only say this because after my last dental visit my entire left side of my face was numb for several hours after my cavities were filled. It might be something looked into for patients with severe pain issues if they could find a dentist (who is very good with the injections) willing to do this with her clients.
