It's the imperfections that make MW2019 reloads so gorgeous. Like a real human does it. Sometimes they won't put the first bullet in the belt in the exact spot first time, sometimes the M4 mag won't slide into the magwell 100% perfect, truly some of the best animations in video games ever.
@Penigale2 жыл бұрын
If you’ve ever done anything firearms related in real life, they look really bad. The unrealistic flick that the player does when putting the firearms back out of the workspace (at 4:02), when going back to presenting the firearm as well as the general speed of reloads are way off, even if it’s for balance reasons. To clarify: my point is that the gun has no weight and is floaty. Mocap actor also has no idea about firearms

3:38 - 3:48 For anyone confused as to why the soldier using the Bodeo 1889 is pulling the trigger and _not_ firing off each round in the cylinder, the Bodeo (and certain other revolvers of the period) incorporates a hammer disconnect that, when the loading gate is opened and the hammer is at half-cock, allows the cylinder to be advanced by one chamber with each trigger pull. It's a genuinely fascinating solution to the problem of reloading a revolver that either doesn't break open, akin to the Webley or top-break Smith and Wesson revolvers, or doesn't have a cylinder that swings out.

Gentlemen, the sound is indeed a main ingredient of the feeling of satisfaction, but the weight of of a weapon depends mostly on the animation. The inertia, the movement of a heavy object is what gives it the feeling of weight. Try watching the video with no sound. 4:09 showcases pistols that are, based on what we see, dummy lightweight.

Love the MG43 From MW. The fumbling with the drum and the adjustments to the belt are created with the human imperfection I always look for in animations. A perfect animation lacks the element of you being a soldier and instead feels like you're a robot
One thing that bothers me about Insurgency's reloads is that the LMG's are so incredibly slow, not just length, but the way the operator reloads his gun, in BF1 and V, some of the LMG reloads are actually very long almost as long as Insurgency's LMG reloads, yet they still feel fast because the sense of urgency of the character and the way he aggressively loads his gun. It fits because you're usually getting shot at and the adrenaline gets to your head, in Insurgency it just feels like your operator reloads his LMG in a shooting range and not in a combat scenario.

Hate to break it to you, but it’s 100% incorrect. In fact, no far cry game reloads a Spas 12 correctly. In the next animation, you see that button on the left side just above the receiver? You need to be pushing down on it while inserting new shells otherwise the receiver won’t budge. So sorry, your favorite is invalid.

I don't know why but the Insurgency: Sandstorm reloads are more calmer than the reloads from other games
@zimman562 жыл бұрын
I like seeing Insurgency's reloads best because they are the hands of someone human...shakey, imperfect, slow and unsure. Like someone who is in battle, sure but also someone who is scared as hell and is just trying to get their gun reloaded correctly. They look less like a mechanical, well oiled machine of some super soldier like any CoD game or even Battlefield, and look more like imperfect but still trained people methodically doing a reload without keeping the weapon perfectly straight or even being quick about it. They feel REAL.
@hanszecrusader3792 жыл бұрын
They dont they reload there weapon like a demonstration, if you want reloads that are actually feel real look at the MW reloads
@thegeforce66252 жыл бұрын
@@hanszecrusader379 imo MW19’s reloads are near unrealistically fast, like they’ve trained everyday to reload their weapon as fast as possible during a firefight. Where as Insurgency: sandstorm’s reloads are more plausible from a average person being thrust into a war zone who doesn’t have much experience with a weapon yet and doesn’t want to screw it up, so they reload slower than usual as a result.
@YourLocalWorldEater2 жыл бұрын
They feel like they are purposefully taking as long as possible. It’s feels dumb to watch because you’re in combat, stop acting like there’s a bunch of people watching you to figure out how to reload it, you’re fighting, just do it as fast as you can without fucking up
