In the last story I feel like no one is the asshole I get both points of view Ur stepdad wants u to feel comfortable and wants to make you feel happy he doesn’t want to hurt u or make u annoyed But he’s coming off in the wrong way And the daughter must also feel uncomfortable as she isn’t the type to vocally express it and make it her personality So maybe the daughter should talk it out with her stepdad and they can work on a solution

As far as the first story goes it's not fair that the parents are penalizing this young girl for wanting to know her biological father. Obviously she wants to understand more of herself which is why she reached out but for the mother to say that she derailed all the hard work that she's done no one told you to cheat sweetie that was your decision as a grown ass woman and you almost f***** up your marriage because of it and you have to live with that and no child should have to be responsible for helping you keep that marriage intact by not reaching out to their biological father after you lied to them their whole f****** life. As far as her stepfather I understand that he is hurt but he is more so hurt at the fact that Mom cheated and he has misplaced anger and he needs to get out of his feelings and put himself in his daughter's shoes. Granted inviting her biological father to her wedding is a huge step and I get why her step dad would feel some type of way when it's all said and done to act like she doesn't exist really says a lot about them than it does about her and everybody needs to f****** grow up except they're part in this f***** up story apologize and have a genuine conversation with that girl and ask her what's going on why does she need to do it and how they can support her in her life when she didn't ask for any of this

What's the second story I don't think she would be an a******. I get what everyone is saying this is not your day it's just one day with that being said this is someone who is just now coming into their own and they're realizing who it is that they are and they're finding pride in it and clothes plays a big part of their identity and pride. A suit would still be something that is appropriate to go to in a wedding it's not like they're asking if they can wear sweats and flip flops. If wearing the dress makes you feel bad uncomfortable I say just ask
