Wow,...I've been making art for more than 40 years, and I never once saw this technique. That is SO cool. The finish image reminds me of some art I did as a printmaker,.....we would use oil paints on a metal printing plate, smear them around and run them through the printing press and end up with a mono-print. This technique is simpler with stunning results. Neat!

There is almost no way it's real - look at the way there are solid lines with almost no smears. There are also places where one color is interrupted by another and then goes back to the original with no mixing, like the black and white dots

I LUV the color dots and the way they look against white, but there's something that makes me feel so happy to see how the color stretches all shiny and smooth and combines into something straight out of a children's museum or Giant Crayola sculptures 🌈 it just makes me giddy 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰❤️💕💙💗💜💖💛💞💚💓🧡💝🤎💘🤍❣️🖤 It looks lovely with the black, but now I wonder how much brighter it would be and the contrast without it 🌈

It looks easy enough but you have to know about the outcome in order to put the dots of color and how much in order. Still, it looks like a great thing to try anyway to see your own results. Also would be great for kids parties, scout troops etc

​​​@@white_clover767 Not true. I've been following this artist on instagram since they were a small account and she literally explained how she does it and showed it. She puts paint where she wants it to stay, lets it dry for a moment so that the paper will hold the color in that area, then uses the squeegy to spread it. No part is edited.

Just go with acrylic paint if you want to try this at home. You'll have tons of colors to choose from and it will be thick enough to not run before you do the squeegee part. Have lots of fun doing it.
