Satisfying stamped concrete fire pit area and borders

Join the concrete crew as we continue this satisfying custom patio project. Today we poured the decorative stamped borders and fire pit area. This one is looking good and I can't wait to show off the final product. We used color hardener and powdered release under the large ashlar stamps. I used some retarder in the concrete and it set up just perfect to give us time to leave a great impression.

Man, I ran across this channel yesterday and binged dozens of videos... I'm 36, I've waited tables my entire life grant it I did do well from chain restaurant to high end downtown Chicago... But I'm so tired of it, doesn't feel like a career..... I absolutely hate the videos I see guys call off on you... I Wise I can find a career like this, Something I can actually work hard and after a few years be in position to get my kids and wife into a house finally. I did help a buddy that short staffed do construction for a summer as a second job and man do I miss those early a m stops at the gas station, when the sun barely rising..... Great videos, braided the usual busting of balls, I can tell you are a great boss.

Here in the Philippines, we pre-fabricate concrete pucks (with tie-wire) to act as spacers in raising rebars and wire mesh off the ground. Keep up the good work and more videos!

Roughly 25-45 meters a day depending on access and if it's a full wrap around the house + driveway etc. In our situation it would be nice for the rest of us to focus on finishing. It's quite a lot of coloring and finishing. That's where all the barrel guys are useless. So why not have a couple extra skilled guys right?
