A good way to prevent lice is by dying your hair, I'm speaking from personal experience and from a doctor's recommendation. Though i will warn you do be careful about the type of dye you use. Depending on the dye such like the brand splat it will stain your shower/bathtub and if you have a sensitive scalp i recommend being super careful about dying your hair like trying to avoid getting the dye near or on/in your scalp or just avoid doing it. It will literally burn your scalp and cause your head to bleed, its very painful and annoying having to deal with it
