The distributor desk and dealer lockers and large substance barrels also add to your visibility. I use many smaller substance storage containers that don't add to the visibility myself. The guy you rescue that sells lab equipment has these nice small metal tanks for substance storage that add 10Kg each but add no visibility, and you can fit 6 under a table I only use those in my lab, and I use those plastic containers you get from almost the beginning for each distributor because those are easier to get a lot of and distributors aren't also storing a lot of extra substances like my lab is. You could also use a separate hideout for your dealer lockers and distributor too if you really want to keep it even lower. For labs many small labs keep visibility low but are a pain to manage. I got one lab for everything. Upgrading to higher tier equipment helps because its fewer total pieces of equipment for the same capacity keeping visibility lower. I wish there were more items and/or ways to reduce visibility still though. I manged to never get raided in DDS1 with over 127hrs of playtime. I have a feeling I will get raided in DDS2.

At 22:58 I get what you mean about the raiding because I had 1 kg of amp and weed and the malitia came in threw smokes and my window shutters blocked the grednades and I ran out but all the stuff was gone

if anyone is wondering why they cant plant yet. i was confused with the outdoor grow boxes, i managed to buy the pots but i couldnt put indica seeds or seedlings in them, we must unlock the recipe to do it, we do that progression through the story. during raid do they take things like sugar and flour?

as you level up stores they will give you a higher number of items that you can buy as well as offer different items and those items reset daily its really not bad once you get into the later parts of the game

While the water bath is technically faster than the autoclave, also mind that it uses a whole kilowatt of power more for just a two second gain.. When you deck out your production hideout, that adds up to a yay bigger bill. Just saying..

I think the reason why the water bath is better than the autoclave isn't due to the small speed bonus, but the 3x queue size (autoclave's base queue is 30, while the water bath's is 90). Granted, that may only matter depending on how one is going about things. I myself have the cottage on the Archipelago (as with everyone else), with 4x Homemade soaking vats. I distribute crafting across them, and then just max the queue in the water bath and run off to do other things (granted, it's still pretty slow with just the one, so replacing with with 2x autoclaves might be something I try out).

@@jamesmoore7140 Yep, that's close to how i'm doing it. I started with three high pressure cookers and have now replaced those with two autoclavs. That in itself already was a downcut on power and boost in capacity. 👍

I got lucky and watched a video that went over going to a boss desk and going into custom options and turning off raiding. So I turned off raiding and never got raided cause I can’t fathom losing all my drugs

Are you still losing it after yesterday's patch? Sounded like there was a bug where if the crafting outputs were full, the machine would still try to keep processing and charge for the associated power because of it.
