Hi Thomas Cargill, I'm a huge fan of your work and the valuable training you provide on KZbin. Your examples of creating focal points in design have been incredibly helpful. However, I have a few questions regarding real-world applications: 1. When a client provides numerous images (10-20+) to work with, how would you approach convincing them to use only a select few as focal points? 2. What's your take on refusing to work with a client who insists on cluttering the design with too many images? 3. In certain environments, such as storefronts or product displays, it's common to showcase multiple products or images. How do you balance the need to display various items with the principle of maintaining a clear focal point in graphic design? 4. How do you handle situations where a client is accustomed to cluttered designs, but you're trying to introduce the concept of a clear focal point? 5. Could you provide examples of creating focal points using different elements (e.g., images, typography, shapes) on a poster? Specifically, how would you approach designing a poster with multiple images (5-10+)? Thank you for your time and expertise. I look forward to hearing your thoughts!

My design work consists of 99% corporate stuff which generally has no real 'style' as everything is usually very conservative. It's boring but it pays the bills :(
@SatoriGraphics21 күн бұрын
I know what you mean, but corporate can be fun too, when you get up to the higher tier clients. It depends what sort of things you work on though. Signage designs are quite different to brand identity projects as example

Great tips! Speaking of AI I think it's great for graphic design like when you want to edit something very quickly just like in that deer example or to generate an image in a more realistic style. However, I think it's unnaccteptable when people generate pictures which are suppossed to look like a drawing. I just personaly hate AI 'art'. When I see someone do this, it's an instant red flag for me. I'd rather someone really drew it since I'm an art lover and I love the drawing process.

Your videos are really dynamic and creative. How do u do these things. I've been doing motion graphics on after effects for 3 years now. The details are overwhelming. I really need guidance. Thank you for all you do.

Can you do a video on how to use Ai to improve our designs as a graphic designer...and list of Ai that a graphic designer can use. Thanks a lot.

Hi sir, please guide how can I make the transitions like you please.

I work with highly skilled and experienced editors. I can edit video myself, but not to this standard of motion graphics. I suggest simply learning with courses online.
