You can argue that he was lucky to have both six eyes and limitless but not that base sukuna or even sukuna in yuji's body could beat gojo(I think the part where sukuna is hit by gojo's domain is supposed to tell us that gojo is the stronger one cause without Megumi and maharaja he would have lost there). Also sukuna has that gift Megumi's sister gave him and all that jazz in this fight. Gojo has been set up to lose regardless, if he is or isn't the strongest in our opinion wouldn't matter much in the big picture. Whether gege kills him or disables him or makes him sacrifice or something completely different is for us to wait, enjoy and argue 🙈

My main problem is people underselling how naturally gifted Gojo is. I would like to add how consistent JJK has been, first Gojo told Yuji that he would win against a FP Sukuna and he is delivering on it, second Gojo told Megumi how the previous TST user and 6E + Limitless user killed eachother and that seems to be what's going to happen and third we have Gojo being seemingly above Sukuna in terms of offensive striking but inferior in defensive striking which makes sense considering how he has limitless, why would he need to defend something that ain't gonna touch him? And Sukuna being superior in defensive striking/counter attacking considering how much like Homelander, he uses range to attack with only his ability.

Gojo when he was fighting Jogo doesn't say he can't use his CT, rather, he says the sure-hit attack imbued in the domain will always hit, and you can only block or counter. This implies Gojo's infinity that stops things from reaching Gojo gets countered since a sure-hit will always hit.

i dunno, based off gege's writing in the past he very rarely forgets about details in the story. Megumi's body being weaker than yuji and definitely his own in the heian era (thats my head canon tho since we havent seen him fight but in the flashback was like 10feet tall or smth) being one of those details and one that I think could definitely make up for the difference in hand to hand that we've seen. He also hasn't used the box at all and he bounced back from his malfunctioning shrine technique by eating the effect of limited void for breakfast and summoning mahoraga for legit less than a second and that was alrdy too much for gojo, had bro legit on his knees .2 seconds from dying until his shrine malfuncitoned again lmao. I think its still way to early to call it but idk

Sukuna is a very clever and cunning character. If any of his abilities could have work against limitless he would have used it. He found that the only way to deal with it was to use megumi's 10 shadows. Whether he was 10 feet tall or had four arms would have mean't nothing if he couldn't touch gojo. Also Gojo's technique is very versatile being able to manipulate structures akin to telekinesis, coat his fist why blue amplifying his punches. The only way he could touch him is with domain amplification which inhibits the user from using there CT this put Sukuna in a major disadvantage in hand 2 hand.

Ok I’m having an issue with everyone saying Heian Sukuna would’ve lost to Gojo by now. Because every time people say that, they assume that a giant, four armed Sukuna would’ve done the exact same stuff as Meguna as well performed the exact same as Meguna in terms of strategy, fighting ability, and martial arts technique. Those who say that essentially are saying that even with four arms, Sukuna would’ve been have the exact same problems with Gojo in hand to hand combat despite having a limb advantage. They are also saying that even without Ten Shadows, Heian Sukuna would’ve just stuck to purely fighting Gojo with fists after winning the first Domain Battle rather than using other techniques like the Fire Arrow or something new to really lay in the damage when he had the upper hand. They keep forgetting the whole reason as to WHY Sukuna hasn’t used any abilities besides Domain Expansion and Domain Amplification since the first Domain Battle which is that the ENTIRE TIME, he INTENTIONALLY having Megumi take on the burden of adaptation for Mahoraga in the background SPECIFICALLY to get Mahoraga to adapt to Unlimited Void so that when the time was right, Sukuna would unleash Mahoraga, destroy Unlimited Void, and then kill Gojo with Malevolant Shrine while including a closed barrier to ensure Gojo doesn’t escape. That was his plan/strategy up to this point that he went into battle with, pulling out Mahoraga like that wasn’t a last second decision that worked out in the end like everyone thinks. Sukuna intentionally revolved his plan around that from the start

Domain's do not turn off someone's technique, they only make it so defending with the techniques impossible, allowing attacks to bypass Infinity and Sky Manipulation. Naobito would not be able to use his technique to defend himself since Dagon's attacks would instantly appear on him. Gojo was using Blue when he hugged Sukuna. Sukuna's domain still has a barrier, its just an open barrier. Since its not close, the domain has increase range. The Shrine is Sukuna's innate domain, so he is receiving an Amp. Even Megumi received an amp form his domain and it had no barrier(neither open nor closed) Sukuna does not need to close his domain, his technique is being amped by 120% Edit-> Gojo is above Megkuna in physical stats and with his technique. Without his domain, Gojo is throwing Sukuna around and while Sukuna has his domain is only when they were comparable in stats without advantages. Gojo's actual stats are higher since his 6-eyes would give him better curse energy manipulation and he is physically stronger than 16 year old Megumi.

Dagon's domain does not turn off Nanami's 7-3 and Naobito's Projection Sorcerer. Why would Naobito's technique matter when the attack will automatically appear on him? He has to defend himself with a domain counter technique. Even if Megumi had a barrier, Reggie would still be able to use his curse technique. Edit-> Techniques like Hollow Wicket Basket and Simple Domain just turn off the Sure-Hit, the 100% guarantee attack does not turn off Innate Curse Techniques. Sukuna's domain is hard proof that is wrong. It does not matter that his domain is open or close, he has a sure hit. Closing the domain does nothing other than stopping the target from escaping. Even Mahito was attacked by Sukuna's Dismantle while touching his soul way back in Junpei's arc. Barrier's are for Sure-hits and trapping, they do not prevent the usage of techniques only that it bypasses techniques like Infinity and Sky Manipulation from defending. Edit again-> Kenjaku's statement on Neutralizing techniques is obviously a mistranslation, it would be more accurate to say it bypasses techniques rather turning them off. Gojo doing Red on Sukuna is hard prove of that. Just because Sukuna is not constructing an environment, does not mean he is not receiving the amp for his technique. The Perks of a domain is trapping the target, amping the user and technique, and the 100% hit. There is zero reason Sukuna would lose the amp by having an Open barrier. Last edit-> Even Kenjaku had a superior Gravity when he smacked Yuki with his Domain compared to Choso and the Shikigami. So no, the amp is very much still there.

I edited my other comment, just before you posted this so go checked the "edited" parts Nanami and Naobito's techniques literally do not matter. How is that an arugment? Nanami's is immediately assaulted before he can do anything, his technique requires him to strike thing at 7-3 to make a weak-point. That is impossible to do while be struck by a Sure-Hit. Naobito's projection Sorcerer condenses his actions into 24 frames a second so he has accelerated movement, this does not matter as he would immediately be struck if not for Falling Blossom Emotion auto-attacking with curse energy. Domain's 100% hit makes its so you literally cannot defend against a domain with your technique, that is why Gojo's infinity does not matter. Due to the Sure-Hit, all of the attacks would bypass the Limitless Neutral Infinity. Techniques can still be used, its just you cannot defend yourself with them. All evidence points to that, not that it removes techniques completely. Edit-> Mentioning it again, Sukuna's domain is amp, in the same way Kenjaku's gravity was amp against Yuki. Neither constructed anything but "Symbol" and the power of the Technique is clearly superior than Outside of the domain.

I have a problem with the idea that Heian era Sukuna would lose to Gojo. Sukuna specifically went into this fight with the plan to use mahoraga. It wasn’t gojo forcing Sukuna to do so, sukuna literally explains that he wanted to use mahoraga to counter gojo’s domain and limitless. If sukuna didn’t have megumi’s body and was somehow in Yuji’s or his previous form he’d still have access to a lot of unseen cursed techniques that he’s just not using in this fight, like the fire technique he used vs Jogo. Sukuna still has a deep bag, and without megumi’s body he’d just form a different plan. Not trying to ride sukuna here, but when he literally explains that he was waiting to activate mahoraga at the right time, people can’t really claim that he’s a fraud, especially when he still hasn’t shown everything he can do.

Another problem you should consider: Gojo had a month to scheme when he could have fought Kenny and 15 finger Suku-mi when he got out. Another thing: Sukuna hasn't shown to be the type to waste time killing people. I think if he had something else, he'd just use that something else this whole time, so whatever else he has wouldn't have mattered if it was just him in his usual body vs Gojo, but that doesn't mean that it may not come in clutch for him with the way things are now. That being said, he still has that gift from Yozoru, so it may come in handy for him, too.

I think the focus a lot of fans have on "oh Sukuna needs Mahoraga to win" is weird and disingenuous. Sure he's been using it to adapt or what have you, but that doesn’t really detract from him. Firstly, Ten Shadows as a whole just like, is his now, but even besides that, Mahoraga especially is. Megumi couldn't actually use him, he'd be killed like what was gonna happen in Shibuya, had Sukuna not killed Mahoraga himself. On top of that, Sukuna is arguably amping Mahoraga like he did with the other shadows, at this point its hard to even try to argue this is Megumi's technique and not Sukuna's, especially for Mahoraga. This is more of a case of rps than a>b>c scaling. Sukuna is 100% stronger than Mahoraga, Gojo is too, but Mahoraga's technique is a good match for Gojo, likewise for Sukuna vs Gojo, even if Sukuna is stronger, his other powers aren't a good match. Its also pretty weird that people focus on him using Mahoraga, not only because as I said, its basically his ability not Megumi's (since the latter can't use it), but because so are cleave and dismantle likely, or that fire arrow, hell Malevolent Shrine's current ability may be a result of a stolen technique. Its more likely whatever that black box thing is is related to his personal, original ability, but no one ever calls out "oh he's a fraud, he used cleave and dismantle"

The only thing I disagree with is sukuna not getting a stat amp in his domain expansion. Your reasoning is because sukuna doesn't create an environment, but rather creates an object(the shrine) and imbues his CT within it; however, at the end of the day it's still an environment. Environment is defined as the surroundings or conditions in which a person, animal, or plant lives or operates, or the natural world, as a whole or in a particular geographical area, especially as affected by human activity. Malevolent shrine yes indeed does create a structure in which the CT is imbued within, however malevolent shrine in the same sense as kenjaku's DE is still more than just a structure, it's a domain. By the definitions listed, you can easily classify malevolent shrine as an environment. As for the technique neutralization thing, technique neutralization has always been incredibly inconsistent within not just malevolent shrine, but most of every single DE in the series. Gojo's wasn't neutralized within jogo's, gojo's wasn't neutralized within sukuna's, same with naobito, nanami, and megumi inside dagan's, and Sukuna inside of gojo's as he was still able to summon mahoraga. It isn't nessacarily that malevolent shrine doesn't neutralize techniques, but rather that technique neutralization as a concept within DE's in jjk has always been inconsistent and practically nonexistent. It exists, but it's not very useful

It guarantee's a hit, not damage. The Megumi fight, it was specifically stated that by opening his Domain Megumi negated the sure-hit effect of Dagons domain and he needed to crush Megumi to reestablish it. In the final fight Sukuna was blatantly shown being hit, however Mahoraga was already in a position to be summoned

It depends on if the focus of your point is Gojo or Domain Expansions. If you're talking about Gojo and his CT or Infinite Void, then no. Simply put, Kamui would just not work. Like, it "technically" would work but the vortex would be so slow to coalesce it would look like nothing happened. This is because it's still subject to the rules of Infinity since it's still an attack (or at least perceived as such) Removing the space between Gojo and the person using X-Axis (as you've described) may close the gap, but it doesn't matter since you still can't touch him. To be clear, Infinity is not like an invisible barrier that's surrounding Gojo. While it may function like that, Infinity is a curse technique that is emanated from Gojo himself. The closer you get to him, the slower you become. You never get to zero but just keep having the speed get cut in half. Artificially closing the distance just means you're likely to get frozen in place until he kicks you away from him. If you were talking about actual Domain Expansions, those are just glorified ki/chakra/nen cocoons that are difficult to break into and nearly impossible to break out of. Kamui would probably be strong enough to warp a portion of the barrier away from the outside, collapsing it. Not sure about the X Axis thing. It seems like you'd just face plant into the Domain wall

Cause sukuna uses ten shadows in gojos domain later and gojos domain is one of the ones that cancel techniques. And it happens like one time before but sukuna shows you can attack simple domains with your tech to just break them.
