Most fans have no idea what players trade values are. Here’s the situation: 1. Satou has to approve any trade period! She has veto power 2. Satou is not going to any bad situations she wants to compete for Championships & eventually resign long term with team she’s traded to but there’s no guarantee she will resign which lowers her trade value. 3. Salary matching is not required in trading for a core player. Teams just have to manage their cap. So, any team trading for Satou understands she is just one year rental so they are not going to give up much period! And the Wings know this too they are not expecting to get equal value for Satou it’s not happening. They will get fair compensation for a one year rental player it doesn’t matter how valuable that player is. The Wings are trying to get something instead of the nothing they will get if they keep Satou & she leaves in ‘26 if they don’t trade her this year. Coring is dead it will not be in the new CBA there’s no way in hell! the players agree to it moving forward. They want real UFA going forward. In summary any trade for Satou is a one year rental & the Wings are only getting equal value for that fact in return. The players actual value is irrelevant Satou will also have to approve the trade which means only a team she wants to play for can make an offer. Dallas has no leverage or say in what trade value they get for her in reality. And this goes for all cored FA so yes Fever fans KM can do the same thing to the Fever if she wants out so get ready 😂 Fans learn what LEVERAGE is 😂

Not last year when Angel was actually the leader. They lost in Elite 8 to an Iowa team that had one 5 star one 4 star and a bunch of 1&2 stars. While LSU was stacked with all 4&5 star players. Angel was suspended mid season and it was always drama. Just like Sky this year.

I'll be honest I trade A Boston for her, I've never seen Satou played scared just like Damas. You need players who aren't scared of the moment. Sexy Lexi stays, bring Satuo do their best to keep Kelsey Mitchell. I hope the Fever took notes from the NBA's Suns. Pieces needs to fit not just get good to great players. The Fever need 2 good to great rebounders, get that ball set "An Actual" screen. Sorry A Boston barely stands a second when setting screens, she's a nice player but she's a selfish player. Dallas was in last place with Satou, she stayed an extra year to win a championship and it didn’t happen. Paige stayed another year with UConn to win a championship, Geno said you have to win one before the WNBA, it’s not going to happen. We all know how the Liberty won their championship last year. Satou isn’t necessarily winning a championship with the Liberty because she is playing.

As a Fever fan, I would love to see Satou playing with CC, but I realise that there is a diminishing chance of this happening, and I'm not thrilled at the Fever giving up their 8th pick and a shot at one of the following: Sonia Citron, Ajsa Sivka, Dominique Malonga or Aneesah Morrow. I would like to think that trading Smith, KLS, Berger (preferably Wallace) and their 1st round draft picks in 2026 and 2027 might be enough.

Dallas gets another good pick and the better player for their franchise. KiKi is on the outside looking in (along with Chicago). She doesn't remotely fit what the Sky need. If I'm the Sky I try to trade back because their best option might be Sonia Citron and that seems WAY too high of a spot for her. Now if Fla'Jae and Ta"Niya were to declare all bets are off and Chicago is suddenly in the catbird seat!
