Paige got her chance to play with an All-Star line up in UConn under Geno while Caitlin Clark had to do it the hard way via Iowa with a team of unknowns. It's about time Paige earns some of that acclaim, taking a struggling team to the WNBA finals just like Clark did.

I wish people would understand but most people that have never played basketball do not understand offense is not the fever's problem they have a good offense as it is defense is their problem they don't know how to play good defense and that includes Caitlin Clark I played college ball and I can't even tell what kind of Defense they are running most of the time everybody's out of position they're not on their player can't tell if they're playing zone or Zone 1 Z 2 or if they're playing half man half Zone they were the second worst team on defense in the WNBA I don't think they're offense is what they need to be working on their offense is clicking is their defense is why they get beat why do people only think about offense in the general population of fans that are basketball fans defense is just as important as offense they don't need to improve their offense what they need to spend the whole damn off-season on is learning how to guard somebody the correct way Kelsey Mitchell knows that way but not much of the rest of the team does at least not one that starts anyway there's another one that plays great defense but she doesn't even start I don't think they have the best players on the court if you want to play Caitlyn Clark's type of offense it's a Run and Gun fast break offense so if you have Boston on the floor who can't get up and down the court over three times without needing a break or Caitlin having to wait on her to get back down the floor you don't have your best offense on the floor not if you're going to run Caitlin Clark's type of offense you have to have Slimmer players that are in basketball shape that can get up and down the floor if they ran that offense they would kill people because these other big girls can't get up and down the floor on these other teams over a period of time in the second half they would kill them but that's still not the problem the problem is defense they do not know how to guard their player they need Kelsey Mitchell to work on them and teach them how to really guard a player because she and Hull are the only two starters that know how to play defense Caitlin Clark is not one of them it's just the truth all you have to do is go back and don't watch all of her offense go back and watch your defense and see how much she gets scored on see how many times players drive on her she has spent her entire life working on offense doesn't look like anybody has ever taught her defense as most of the rest of the players don't that's why they're the second worst team in the entire league when it comes to defense you don't need to trade for offensive players you need to trade for some people that know how to play defense it doesn't matter how many points you score if the other team can score more from a lack of good defense and players not getting back on defense
