Joel's teachings cannot be understood with the human mind and that's where the battle in two powers resides. No matter how much one expresses the spirit of Gods presence that annoying human mind will try its best to make noise. This is the biggest test we put ourselves through. Don't give up! The spirit will win.

This was difficult for me to understand also, finally I understood that there is only one "good" that is God. The word cannot be applied to a human or circumstance, just to God. I wanted to say he or she is good or that was good etc. I didn't understand how that was wrong until I realized that God is the only one we should call good. Jesus; "why callest thou me good, only one is good that is God".

I really find this recording interesting and would like to hear it again but I would like to point out that in the beginning and later in the recording as well, I can hear intermittent drinking through a straw by someone (it sounds like it, anyway). Maybe consider re-recording this one? Thank you!

Satsangdotie. Hello, and thank you for your reply. The noise didn't sound as though it was part of the tape (I know which sounds you mean- coughing from members of his audience, planes flying overhead, trucks diving by, etc. :)). This sounded different to me, external to the recording of Joel's, but I could be wrong. I've listened to the recording a couple times since and just sort of mentally block it out. : ) On another note, thanks so much for making these recordings available. I, and I know so many others appreciate being able to hear Joel's wonderful messages. I'm sure they're making a positive difference, worldwide. Thank you again ~
