I remember actually learning lots from cartoons and comics back in the day. Beast from the X-Men for instance often had me running to the Dictionary. I learned lots of new words at young age from that.

"The Golden Fleece" - probably my favourite "Joe" episode from Sunbow era - next to "Into yor tent..", "Raise the Flagg", "Ninja Holiday". But missed opportunity with having here Serpentor who had DNA of Alexander the Great after all.

Iirc in the G.I.Joe movie Duke and Cobra Commander were both supposed to die and be replaced by Sgt.Slaughter and Serpentor respectively. But due to the outrage over the death of Optimus Prime in the Transformers Movie it got changed to Duke being injured and Cobra Commander being turned into a snake.
