Love your videos! I had a Roscoe and Millie pet raccoons, raised on bottles. Their momma was killed in a storm when the tree fell. My daddy found them & brought them home. Their fur was soft and they were so much fun. I'm past 55 now so I don't go to the woods as much. I wish they would come to my patio like yours do...

We fed our Raccoon 5 pounds of hotdogs in 15 minutes tonight!! We absolutely love it!! We have at least 40 that visit us throughout the night. We totally understand why you share with your furry friends, it is the high light of our day to share with ours!!! Keep sharing James!!! You're the best!!!

My neighbor had logs at the top of the rails on her deck and they would lay there on their stomach and let their legs hang down. It was so cute! I live by a lake and one time one had a big fishing lure hung in his lip. It was one of those big ones with 5-6 hooks. We felt so bad for it, because those hooks got caught on everything. We got a cage and baited it with a big cinnamon bun. Next day the bun was gone and the hook was left hanging on the cage, so he had got it loose. It was only in about 1/2 inch or so on his lip since he had pulled on it so much. I hate to see things like that, but glad we were able to help him/her get rid of it. We saw him again and he was fine and eating as usual. I was never brave enough to pet one though. I loved how that one reached up with that adorable paw and got your attention by touching your arm!! Their little paw/fingers are so long!!

My raccoons loved Little Debbie cakes especially chocolate peanut butter wafers! In the afternoons, I would usually fall asleep on my front porch with my poodle Roscoe and my Maine Coon cat Bessie Mae. Some afternoons we would all be taking a nap and one little momma raccoon would come up on the porch and tap me on the shoulder and wake me up! She was so sweet and gentle...she always knew I would go in the house and get her something to eat! Roscoe and Bessie Mae never minded....
