Can't wait to see it, nostalgia (sigh). Always love your cinematic fluency and style. Plus, who don't love a brother who movie-watches with his mother.

Hey, Mamie! Definitely a nostalgic trip back into time that I think you'll appreciate. I'm always so grateful for your encouragement, and this is most definitely the truth! Mommy B is always in the VIP circle when it comes to movie-watching. 😎😎😎

Now I want a biopic about Chevy Chase and a story about his failed late night show in the '90s. 😁

Oof! That would be an intriguing concept. 🙃🙃🙃

There's a video from Hats Off Entrainment that did a video on the Chevy Chase late-night show. It's very interesting.

Hey, T! I'm realizing how fortunate I am to be near certain theaters, because the release distribution for some of these are so wack. Appreciate the support, my friend! 🙏🙏🙏

Looking forward to this one although it does not come out here until January. I like Jason Reitman. Even though you could accuse him of being a "Nepo Baby" he turned out some movies I love. I am familiar with that opening episode with George Carlin, Janis Ian, Andy Kaufman and Billy Preston. It's got to be one of the most iconic pilots ever. That era of SNL is legendary. I am a fiend for movies about television in the past so I feel this movie will be right up my street. Cool review.

Hey, Terence! I agree about Jason Reitman. Although I understand the "nepo baby" perception, it's possible to still have talent that speaks for itself in the end. 👌👌👌

I’ve got zero idea if Saturday Night Live even shows recaps here in the uk, I can say in 34 years I’ve never seen a single episode 😂 However this does sound very interesting and I wanna know the chaos that happened 90 minutes prior 😂

Hey, Mike! Despite me living in the US of A, I've never seen an episode myself. I've seen clips of various famous episodes and actors in skits, but that's about it. The story is a really interesting one, though. However, I think I'll appreciate it more once I get some additional context through research. 👌👌👌

Dang, D...You kept talking while the intro was playing. 😮

Alas, the moral quandaries of the opening line left me unable to cease talking. 🧐🧐🧐

I've seen bits and pieces SNL from the '90s with Chris Farley, Chris Rock, David Spade, Adam Sandler, Mike Myers, and Dana Carvey and I respect SNL for being on this long on NBC but to be honest, as a kid I was more into MadTV than SNL when MadTV hit it's stride in the mid/late '90s.

Same! I've mainly seen SNL through retrospectives and archival footage, but not as an active viewer. Mad TV and In Living Color were my main go-to's for sketch comedy, personally. 👌👌👌
