I looked it up today as I wasn't quite sure...I designed the line in 2014 and submitted it to Moda that summer and then it came out in May of 2015. So, technically it'd probably be next year! =) I didn't even think about when that 10 year mark might be!

It's beautiful! You're right! I don't think it would be as striking without the 'stripey squares'. Beautiful either way, but the squares add playfulness, and drama--not a combination easy to convey. @@shirleywhitehead4005

I do like hearing about the patterns. It gives us an idea if we want to tackle it or not. So "ewes" keep right on talking about it 😂. I was rolling when you said that and it just fell right into the quilt pattern. Also I didn't make the entire size Irish chain quilt.. I made it the size I needed. It really is a lovely pattern for a beautiful quilt! Thank you for sharing that and your beautiful smile in every video. It really can brighten my day!

Hi from Maine. Love the Peachy Keen and bought a FQ bundle after seeing the heart quilt that Kimberly made using this fabric line for her daughter Emma. That quilt with this fabric line grabbed my heartstrings. Must add, I started quilting decades prior to precuts and still tend to just buy fabrics from our local quilt shop. We are so back woods here that there isn't precuts available at the shop. I strongly believe supporting local businesses and they are absolutely wonderful at the quilt shop. More like family than a business. Yes, I bought the pattern too and as soon as I finish a quilt recently started for a granddaughter's wedding, I can hop onto the heart quilt. Much thanks for the wonderful colors in this line.

Loved you charing all your BH’s quilts. When I got back to quilting after a long hiatus, I joined BH2. That’s how I learned about all of today’s designers, too, and ‘met’ you. Thanks for going in depth with each quilt (and show me what I missed 😂 since I didn’t join any of the other BH’s). This year I am ‘playing’ along BH5 part 2, but will not make a quilt with my blocks, but rather table runners and pillows. It was so much fun to share!...it's always fun to think back about what was happening while I was piecing each of those quilts. I have very specific memories with two of them! It's so fun that the blocks can be used in so many different ways...that makes this quilt along a little bit different than some of the others. Everyone really makes the quilts/projects their own!

All such lovely quilts. I think any Barn Star would look great in the middle. Also your Medley Medallion quilt is 32.5 after the friendship star round. I think about that pattern often as I have finished the checkerboard round and am eaged to get back to it. Cant wait to see what you do. Your settings are always so great and fun.

Interesting that you quilted over the appliqué. I had heard you don’t do that but that’s hard on some quilts. Would love you to discuss as a subject. Love how it turned out. Love the orange peel too❤

I quilt over applique all of the time! I really enjoy applique...in fact, the first book I wrote, Playful Petals, was a book on machine applique. =)
