I had to explain to my mother what a thankless position nose tackle is. You won’t hear his name said often, but he’s been making impacts every play. He’s DOG tired when he gets to the sideline. Love to see it from a young buck

He was a RB at one point, and he uses the shimmy to get O-linemen off-balance so he can bust his move. The shimmy, which you call Crazy Hands, was his MO out of college and it just works. Get used to seeing it for his entire HOF career.

I can guarantee you, that Murphy will have to be game planned around. to keep him out of the opposing offenses backfield.

Yep and he’s absolutely amazing against double teams. People said him dropping his knee wouldn’t work in the nfl like it did in college… they were wrong 😂

It's gotta be absolutely terrifying for offensive coordinators scheming short yardage plays against that 6 man line they can roll out there.. straight up BEEF that can absolutely move with Reed, Leo, and Murphy.. adding Hankins to clog, and Jones/Hall to collapse the edges.. like.. what do you do?

Its a hesi step to fake out the tackle....its a rookie move he's use to doing because it worked for him in college....it'll work sometimes, not too much though

You also have to keep in mind he just turned 22 last month. I expect these little mistakes to be cleaned up by next year completely and expect them to get better this year
