Cutting this for time was a mistake, even if the SNL audience isn't all that into sports. This is one of the best SNL sketches I have seen in a long time and I think most non sports fans can get the joke completely. Every sports talking head sounds like this. Our TV's are just boxes where middle aged people screech all day trying to be as controversial as possible.
