Michael didnt really know how much people love this girl, until he told that joke about her. And they didnt like it at all! Nothing for his joke but the roar and minute long ovation and cheers she got when she rolled out on stage. It was spontaneous and real. No prompted laughter, applause or cheering. New York is a long way from Iowa. She has very loyal and devoted fans everywhere she goes.

As a fellow Iowan, I am glad someone like Caitlyn Clark is out there representing us, and showing the world that we're not a bunch of dumb, backward hicks- and we have sons and daughters who know how to play a good game of basketball. This segment was just the icing on the cake.

When we beat uconn in the final fout both Stewert and her wernt to positive about Clark. I get being disappointed but be positive in the fact that Clark is helping also them and the entire wnba. Rantings and leadership are on the verge if big numbers never seen and new regationtions for a new tv and revenue deal for the wnba are soon approaching. I get that Clark is a rookie and she will be getting some tough love and won't be easy but folks have to think bigger picture and what's good for the league. It's bigger than any one player. This has the potential to increase what every one is making and perhaps more wnba expansion teams like the announced Sacramento team . Also have a issue with apan coverage being way to uconn biased.
