One of the best skits. Yes, KLG is REALLY like that. Kristen Wiig has the mannerisms down perfectly and the gestures etc. And KLG was always talking about Frank or saying things like, “Yesterday while sitting by the fire in my sunroom at my waterfront home in Greenwich Connecticut, I was mesmerized by all the sailboats on the water and reflecting on how fortunate i am.” YES, we KNOW, KLG!

*This is SO bizarre, hopefully someone can help. After extensive searching, I cannot find the skit where [Wiig as] KLG calls Kelly Ripa an irritating bird. I found the transcript, which reminded me that it was the Feb 5, 2011 episode, when Dana Carvey hosted. I found a brief written mention on The Today Show’s website, but the link with the clip is defunct/has been removed. I even found the full SNL episode on NBC’s website, but that particular skit has oddly been removed⁉️* Is this because “KLG” requested that a hunter come _”shoot”_ “the irritating bird” (Ripa), or is there some other reason it’s been scrubbed from the internet? Appreciation in advance for any honest insight.
