I know plenty of white guys that came up in black culture and I know they are being authentic. The only question I have with Travis is that his brother is not the same way. That is kind of weird to me. But I know he’s not faking it though I can tell by how he plays and also by his endzone celebrations.

If someone wants to identify as a race they don't have in their immediate racial background, it is their choice. If some people can pick up cool aspects of another culture and it works for them, I say go for it.

A hood where there were a few whites, and Hispanics from the islands. We don’t look at them any different, as we all talk, dress, and for the most part think alike because we all are immersed in a culture that was here before us. They picked up the same culture as we did whether good or bad. You can go to the proverbial “other side of the tracks” and find people their same skin color as well as mine that were nothing like them although they were the same race. They were one of us regardless of skin color. They didn’t choose it just like we didn’t. Now if an outsider tried to act like us because they thought it was cool, of course we would be suspicious because there is a thin line between admiration and mocking. It’s why Eminem or Paul Wall is respected but not Macklemore or Lil Dicky

The way I determine if someone is a good comedian or not is by how far they are willing to go for the joke. It seems that some people are funny, but are only willing to go so far. Heidi was willing to go ALL OUT on this one. The tear ducts strapped to her head actually looked painful, but she soldiered on and pulled off a great performance. This was a really funny sketch. I'll be watching it again and again.

IDK anything about "behind the scenes" but if seems like the departure of Cecily, Aidy, and Kate have made room for Heidi, Chloe, and Sarah (I have crushes on all 3) (not to mention Mikey and Bowen - man crush??) really come into their own. I used to tune out when Heidi was on screen, but she's really been great this season. Others are sort of now in the "tune out" category with the exception of James Austin Johnson. He's great. And Travis was a great host (by pleasnt surprise). He's in that same charisma territory as Gronk and Peyton.
