You know, there's a lot of funny stuff you could with the GoT cast. You could have some really funny bits about how Actor X gets all the best scenes while Actress Y just wanders the fucking desert for half a decade, maybe do something where the actors come into a funny conflict with each other or whatever. Maybe have Jack Gleeson hanging around backstage, still dressed as Joffrey, offering everyone homemade Christmas cookies because he's such a nice guy in real life, etc. But no. It's SNL. You could give them the funniest idea in the world and they'll still fuck it up because the show has been coasting by on its reputation for over two decades now.

Emilia Clarke is an incredibly smiley, giggly person in interviews and I would have loved to see McKinnon try to pull that off!
