We call them "snow jungles" in Germany - thank you for showing. Here we are far away from something blooming as we still have approx. 25 cm of snow .... The trench coat pattern reminds me on my Aquascutum van Gogh, wich I bougt when living in Londen in the 1980-ies. However, mine is midi and it still looks very good. So investin in quality pays off.

I began sewing and collecting Burda magazines since 2008. I'm glad that I don't have to buy the new magazines anymore, because every model that I see I have in the older magazines already. They haven't been creating the new oatterns for many years now, all that they do is seeing the new garnents for the "new" magazines

Mine go back to 2002 and yes they do repeat, which is great for us! The older issues with more crafting/knitting, designer and reader contributions are treasures. Especially since they had two pattern inserts to make patterns easier to read. My subscription ended when they went to a single insert. I've often heard that "there is no new fashion"!

Classic shapes in New fabrics. I agree with Kat if you have the older issues your set. Detailing on several of the garments are too young for me now ( 60) I have an issue from back in the 80s! Lol

The wrap jacket dress in moss (123) is my favorite. You're right depending on the fabric choice it can go from draping dress to outerwear. Trying to come up with an occasion to wear it, but alas, my life is super casual now.

I agree I have sewed a couple "super easy" bursa jersey shirts and they were not super easy, thankfully I found a demo video online.

I quite like this edition and I see a lot of patterns I would like to make! I like the whole series of 7 trends in the first section of the magazine, and also the shirt dress in the plus size section. Lovely and very much on trend 👌

If you find a nice spruce colored fabric please share. I find it incredibly hard to find different shades of nice green fabrics. There is not much else besides khaki and bright gras green. I wanted to make myself a green trench coat years ago but I couldn’t find the fabric that I imagined. I finally gave up and made a red one. But I am tempted to try again. Have you ever seen a trench coat pattern with a hood? I love trench coats but I also like to have coats with a hood.

I'm in New Zealand and we are 12 months behind with Burda Magazine/Pattern Magazine Do you know why that is?

Am not too sure why that may be. Recently in UK we have been having delays as well. Hopefully it get back to normal soon💓

For my basic wardrobe I like the sweatshirt (102) and the shirts (102 and 117). However, I will adjust the width of the sweatshirt, otherwise it will be too baggy for me. I am absolutely thrilled with the maxi tiered dress (104). If I find the "right" fabric, I will sew it! The boys' hoody and the shirt are great for my son.

If he has younger brothers, it will be worth the effort I think.
