Great video. Really great family. I am planning to do the same thing with my 14 ft Saturn, to take my family to nearby lakes. I am planning on a 20 hp Suzuki. How fast were you able to go on that motor with the family in it?
@arcosdebaja4316 Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching and probably 15-20 mph i would assume and which is pretty good on the water.
@Kevin-gh1cn2 жыл бұрын
very cool, been looking for a boat i could take with us camping with our travel trailer. Saw the Saturn inflatables and was trying to decide which one to get when i ran into you video. Perfect timing! Really thinking about the 14' FKB430 but with only 11' internal length it seemed short but you seem to have plenty of room. Of course yours is a foot wider. I was just concerned that with 2 guys fishing, one would be sitting in the other's lap :) looks like it would be ok though.
@arcosdebaja43162 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching Kevin and yah it seems to be enough room for fishing with two people. We will definitely doing some fishing here in the near future as long as the weather permits. I think you are looking at the more narrow boat and that one looks cool as well. Mike

You are right i should have made a short video but all you need to do is measure the inside width and build a small box. I covered mine with a thin carpet as for the seats i took the width of the box and found two seats that would fit. Thanks for watching, Mike.
@frbaec11 ай бұрын
Great setup man. I got the sd365 with the aluminum floor and I was wondering how did you bolt the box under the seat to the floor. I just finish a similar box and don’t know how t bolt it. Thanks.I seen all your videos really cool brother.
@arcosdebaja431610 ай бұрын
Its not bolted, i made it slightly larger than the inflated with and install it before the boat is fully inflated.

Man that is a SWEEEEEET setup you got there!!! When you get the bearing buddys will you post model # and install info. I have the same trailer and have been meaning to add those bunks to tow my 11ft Azzuro Mare (also by Saturn) w/ air deck and it flexes quite a bit under load and when on plane. I wonder how ot would handle with the aluminum floor.. it'll be heavy as hell but prob more sturdy and robust. I have mine paired with a 20hp Suzuki 4strk. Thanks.

First off thank you for watching, the bearing buddy model 2047. The next video will show a bit rougher water and how it did. Thanks Mike.

@@arcosdebaja4316 thanks for the quick response brother!! Would love to get more details on how you extended the trailer's tongue (details would be great.. materials, bolts and any equipment needed) as I dont want a permanent welded option either. Thanks man, keep the videos coming!!
@arcosdebaja43162 жыл бұрын
No worries and its funny you should ask because this month i will be changing out the tongue extension and making it a bit longer. This shouldn't be a big deal because i also did not want welded joints and so it is bolted also. As soon as i do it i will get the video up, Mike.

Excellent video! My question is about trailering with so m much weight behind the trailer axle. Typically we should have more weight forward of the axle to prevent fish tailing. I have the zk430 with a Yamaha F8 (87lbs). Oolers and gear forward in bow maybe? How's yours do on the road? Thanks, Chris

Is there a reason you can’t put the 2 nice seats back where your first aluminum bench is ? If I’m fishing alone I think I’d rather be steering the boat in a nice seat instead of the aluminum bar. Is there room back there for that ?
@arcosdebaja4316 Жыл бұрын
Sorry for the late response and yes i don't se why not just maybe a weight and balance issue but you could always put some ballast closer to the bow.

How's the boat been holding up so far? I just ordered one but with the inflatable floor (apparently that's the only one they're shipping out from now..........aluminium floor is a optional accessory).... how do you find the space especially for fishing?
@arcosdebaja4316 Жыл бұрын
First off thanks for watching and everything is good hopefully this summer will bring more fishing but it seems to me a good fishing platform. As for the floor it might be a good thing to have the inflatable one because the aluminum floor is kinda a pain to put together. Mike
