it was also literally the way i communicate that has been a lifelong lesson. i was obsessed with words and languages growing up, so i pronounced things correctly and used big words, and the other kids made fun of me for sounding like a dictionary. and so started a journey of trying to fit in with my language, trying to sound like everyone else and avoid hurting anyone's feelings by making them feel insecure

I think for me saturn in gemini was not just learning disability, but also learning outside of school and I learned better outside of the institutions and I and others in my generation are critical of mainstream academia. There is some indoctrination in school and memory learning, which does not facilitate logic and deeper thinking. I think it oppresses it.

I had a lot of problems with the neighbourhood I grew up in and had problems with siblings, relatives and neighbours.

I hated gossip and did not want to participate in it, however, I did not know how to deal with gossip appropriately until I was in my late 20's early 30's

Nadiya, I just wanted to say that I really appreciate what you do. Astrology automatically makes people rather self-consumed, and I don't know if people compliment you enough. I'm studying astrology and I watch/read a lot of things and you certainly stand out from the crowd. They way you approach astrology is rather profound and you give a lot of insight through your interpretations. I'm grateful that what you do is done with so much awareness and genuine care. This is incredible.. Saturn is just having its final dip in my sign right now (Scorpio) and it's been hell.... Pure effin' hell. But I am actually grateful for everything that has changed, although it has honestly been the worst time of my life. And here I am listening to your Synchronicity University and you're talking about processing information and possible learning disabilities with Saturn in Gemini or 3rd House... Well, I have ADD. Ha! I actually said "WTF!?" outloud here.. =P And now, with Saturn soon leaving me, among other things that have changed.. I'm actually going back to schoool - and feeling great about it! I love learning, I just have a hard time with how the regular school system works, and as a kid I was way ahead in my thinking and curiosity and therefor got crazy bored... I couldn't handle it very well then, but now I know more about how I function and can sort of make up my own learning plan and system. So everything you're saying is scary spot on.... As always. i have Saturn in Gemini and never read a book cover 2 cover which is amazing since i wrote this before you said it....I started studying Astrology which has helped me overcome my social anxiety thru giving readings professionally...I discovered I'm a visual learning style works best....My older sister(Aquarius) did most of my supervising/parenting with a single working Mother in the 70's! I would love to write publish my book on Home Organization/Cleaning tips shortcuts watch for it! xoxo

My Natal chart is in Saturn in Gemini in the 1 house. I always have had bad health since i was a baby. Now into my 40's. My main Element is Air since i have more Air Element in my Natal chart. Very little Fire and Earth. No water Element in my Natal chart.

Nadia, How the heck does one determine when a planet is transiting a house? I have searched online, and am currently in my 2nd astrology book, and cannot find a simple explanation. Help! I know you can!

+borntomarryjohnmayer Nadia, I think I got it (I hope so) So, Saturn is 28* Scorpio right now. So to find which house Saturn is transiting for me, I looked for 28* Scorpio in my chart, which is in the 2nd house. Is that right?!

It's just the signs natural house (i.e. a transit Venus in Aries would be transiting 1st house too)
