I really enjoyed seen parts of the Apollo Space Program that is not usually seen in TV documentaries. Thank you.

The amazing launch, the three astronauts and their achievement is all that most people remember about Apollo 11, 50 years ago. But there was an army of more than 400,000 of the world's smartest inventors, scientists and physicists and highly skilled engineers behind them who made that adventure possible. It's estimated around 20,000 companies and manufacturers contributed to the moon effort. These film archives show what our country was capable of when it believed in advancing science for the good of all people on the planet. I feel these videos should be dedicated to those men and women.

Excellent, really insightful and technically spot on series of Saturn5! films here. Watching them leaves time for thought and reflection on what the Apollo program was and what it still means. Alot of detail footage I havent seen before. Great stuff, thank you.

Few compliations show the scale of the program as this does. Alot of detail footage, too, that I havent seen before. Great stuff, thank you.

Thanks for your positive comments, the whole idea was to show the scale of the undertaking and the scale of a Saturn 5 physically. This particular film is an ongoing project, hopefully adding footage as it comes availible.

@IASOU2005 reminds me of a story about the crew of apollo 11, they couldnt open the door on the LM because of residual pressure left between the LM and the lunar environment, so they bent the door back (by hand) to release the remaining air... And yes it was all held together with sticky (scotch) tape

@magicznyrafal Thanks for your positve comment, all of the music featured was specially composed for the film so have no titles as such, other than what can be derived from their visual context. I do plan in the future to release this soundtrack, in the meantime TanDogs album 'In space no one can hear you say good morning!' is available and can be found on itunes, Amazon 'and other good download sites now!' Thanks again TanDog

NASA hired a privately own company to make the spacesuits, not a corporation. Little old ladies sewed them.

Dude wtf? How did you work this audiological magik? Are you a sound-tech in real life or something?

At about 4:50, the high notes made something in my room vibrate like crazy. Perfect resonance. I replayed the this a few times to make it happen again, but I think whatever was vibrating took a nosedive behind the entertainment center. So you're gonna owe me about $10 I think, for breaking one of my cups?

Nope , it was all the beeps and boops at 3:30 that did it Now I got shit dancing all over the coffee table :D
