K Visvanath garu gave chiranjeevi three memorable roles which brought him best actor awards and it's to viswanath garu's credit the role of apadbandhavudu should belong to. As you said telugu cinema's only official oscars entry is 'swathi muthyam' a film by k visvanath garu! Subhalekha, Swayamkrushi and apadbandhavudu.

I was at this at this Cafe, it's a very high five place, you people can't afford it. So I was there to meet Rajamouli because he needed some help with his story. Then this Satyadev walks in and I didn't even look at him. Rajamouli told me Satyadev was constantly watching me but I didn't care. He then comes to my table and asks me "Anna I want to act in brochevarevarura, please anna call and tell that Athreya fellow that you won't do it anna. Please anna'. I told him don't worry because I rejected that movie because it doesn't have ability to introduce me as Star Hero. Then I messaged Athreya and he called within 5 seconds and I ordered him to cast Satyadev in it. Then I shared a few acting tips to Satyadev and asked him to go home.
