I could not stop my tears after seeing this. I am an extrovert, but when I was depressed I couldn't speak to anyone, wanted to stay alone. My 4 yr old son was playing in the balcony, and seeing him playing I felt if I throw him from the balcony and jump... All my pains will be over. Because I could not die leaving my son at somebody else's mercy. But being a mother, I did not have the strength to kill my son. That moment passed and I felt... I am foolish craving for a man to love me and be loyal to me. I have my son, who loves mw more than anyone in the world and will love me till the end of my life and even after my life!!! How could I be so blind!! I have developed a new perspective to my life... God has always loved me... and so does my Son... I am very content with my life!!
@sarikasharma63995 жыл бұрын

Though the illness was started in 1993.. My father is the only man who looks after her. My brother and I are busy with our study. So my father is alone there to look after her. 50% of my mother's life has already wasted for this disease. We tried all treatments by our means but nothing worked. Now, her condition is so bad that my family can't help praying for her death. We can't see her suffering anymore. I feel so much guilty when I think about my mother's death. But, what can I do? I have had all the things a man need for his life except my mother. My family is the best example how only one disease can destroy a happy family. Thnx.. Amir khan .. For the show. As a citizen of ur neighbouring country across the ocean,- Sri Lanka- I'm an individual who knows about the perspective of Psychiatric disorders, as an individual, as a family member and as a health care worker myself. Our Psychiatry services hv improved over the years but we still need more awareness and Counseling, Rehabilitation services as well. The stories which these people told of their perspective of suffering from Depression and seeing their family members suffering from Schizophrenia resonated within me. Our country is a small country. Yet we too hv our own rich cultural background. The fact which u pointed out that religious leaders can be approached by the community as a bridge for paving the way for treatment compliance is very effective. And I think laughter therapy is very fun!.. Had been doing that without knowing its therapeutic significance.. Thank you Mr.Aamir Khan for ur great contribution to humanity..

So much I could do if I was well equipped with information. Knowledge and awareness around mental health issues is still a problem. People broadly classify issues under anxiety and depression. The void and scar in my heart is permanent… but I hope to spread awareness and knowledge about this to people who are still looking for answers

Indeed it is a very important to talk about. I am feeling the same thing today and have no one to talk about my feelings . So, ultimately I landed up here handling myself. But this cruel and mean world no one understands you, Everyone is super busy in there lives and perception that they don't care to understand what others around them are going through. I am in need of help but don't have enough money to help myself undergo this treatment. Guys please note the red flags people give you, anybody's little attention could save lives . Be kind please

Mental Illness and Gay right issues is still taboo in developed countries like Australia. People with the mental illness less likely to get a job, if employers knew the condition of candidate in Australia... not surprised whatsoever the issue exist in developing countries such as India. But, all credit goes to Amir Khan being "Catalyst" raging the issue in his show Satyamev Jayate.

Wrong, I suffered from severe depression and almost killed myself If I didn’t fall in love with working out at the gym I probably would’ve, medicine doesn’t cure depression or anxiety, fitness does wonders and I strongly recommend you guys to keep active at all times and keep working out because that’s one thing that’s going to help you for sure, medicine only numbs the pain but the pain will get out of hand medicine also has side effects I strongly believe that you should find yourself a hobby, something you love and keep doing it, this will definitely help depression
@laxmitomar52543 жыл бұрын
Yes true.... medicine doesn't do anything at all . You have to take Out yourself from that phase on your own . Though life doesn't change much after that ....it's just you become healthy . Physical health is very important. Mental health and physical health are directly proportional to each other....agar physical weakness badh gayi toh mental weakness hawi hone lagti hai....mere sath bhi aisa he hua tha . Isliye donno ko ekdum sahi rakho....khoob khao aur emotions ko chupao Matt , if u can't express your emotions, then accept it within yourself . You will get the satisfaction and talk to your self and trust yourself .

Severe depression mai medicine ki need hoti hi h. Ofcourse koi ye nhi bol rha h ki physical health ka dhyan Mt rkho pr kuchh log severe depression mai chle jate h jahan unhe pehle us extreme symptoms se bahar nikalne k liye medicine dete h taki vo ye sb kr ske. Severe depression mai koi hobby nhi rehti you feel so exhausted,tired ki brush Krna bhi bahut bdi baat lgti h. @@laxmitomar5254
